Resurrection Catholic Church plans its 21st annual Fall Craft Fair on Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will showcase works from 45 local vendors as well as the church’s Wednesday Women’s Group.

“We will be making 80 apple pies that morning,” organizer Barbara Lenco said. “The pies will be fresh out of the oven.”

The homemade pies are a tradition at the craft fair. Lenco said they are in such high demand at the fair that they usually sell out before 10:30 a.m. each year.

In addition the the apple pies, vendors will have a wide variety of items for sell such as decorations and personal gifts made by hand. Lenco said all items at the craft fair must be homemade.

The Wednesday Women’s Group has hosted the craft fair since 1999. The annual event raises money for items that are not part of the church budget such as lawnmowers, tree trimmers, desks and file cabinets, Lenco said.

The Oct. 16 craft fair will be in Resurrection Catholic Church’s lower level.
