Harvester Outdoors postponed the Oct. 10 Music at The Coves show featuring Lonesome River Band with Junior Sisk and the Ramblers Choice Reunion Show one week to Oct. 17 due to Hurricane Delta.
“With the expected effects of Hurricane Delta in the forecast, we’ve decided to move the show to Saturday, October 17, but everything else is staying the same,” said Gary Jackson, general manager of Harvester Performance Center. “Forecasts for the 17th look like it will be a super autumn day.
“Both the Lonesome River Band and Junior Sisk and the reunion of Ramblers Choice are hoping folks will hold on to their tickets for the new date. They are excited to play together in an outdoor, socially distant and safe setting,” Jackson said.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. Oct. 17, and the music starts at 2:30. The program is sponsored by The Coves at Smith Mountain Lake, Mountain Retreat Living and Harvester Outdoors. Proceeds benefit the Smith Mountain Arts Council and SML Good Neighbors, Inc. “The Coves is a beautiful piece of land overlooking the lake, and we’re looking forward to presenting these amazing players,” Jackson said.
Jackson said guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets and that food and beverages would be available to purchase. He added that masks and temperature checks would be required. The concert will be at 285 Coves Road in Union Hall. Tickets are available at harvester-music.com.
