Registration now open for Bethlehem's Wonderful Weekdays

Wonderful Wednesdays, an evening of fellowship and small group discussions at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Moneta, has been renamed Wonderful Weekdays. Previously drawing more than 100 participants sharing in a meal before dispersing into small groups, Bethlehem is now hosting this fellowship and discussion virtually through Zoom.

Based on the same foundation of thought-provoking, Bible-based studies, five groups are being offered throughout the week beginning Jan. 11.

Among the offerings is the Alpha Course, a study for those seeking more information about God, faith and life. People come to Alpha for different reasons, from different backgrounds. Many are newcomers to church or new to faith. Some aren’t sure what they believe or are atheists. Others are longtime Christians who feel something is missing or want to brush up on basic beliefs. All are welcome.

Other small groups include studies titled What Every Church Member Should Know About Poverty, Rising Strong (How the Ability to Reset Transforms the Way We Live), Three Months with Matthew, and a guide of Paul’s journey through the ancient trade route called the Via Egnatia in the Faith Lessons series. Registration is required by visiting bethlehemunitedmethodist.org.
